Intentional, Not Just Supervised

This is not a drop-off camp

You want more than somewhere to leave your dancer for the day. CampXcel is built so every hour moves their technique, artistry, and confidence forward.

A typical summer camp

  • Filler activities to pass the time
  • One mixed group, whatever the skill
  • Supervised, not coached
  • Your dancer comes home about the same

CampXcel

  • Every block is real dance training
  • Placed by level, so the challenge fits
  • Taught by full-time faculty and guest artists
  • Your dancer leaves visibly stronger

Questions

Frequently asked

Does my dancer need experience to join?+
No. CampXcel has two levels, Kickstart for beginners and recreational dancers (1 to 3 years, or brand new) and Fusion for intermediate dancers (4 to 7 years with strong technique). Our faculty places each dancer, so they are challenged at the right level.
Is there a half-day option to try it first?+
Yes. A half-day week is $195 and runs either 9 AM to 12 PM or 12 PM to 3 PM. It is a great way to start before committing to a full week or stacking several.
What should my dancer bring each day?+
A labeled water bottle every day, plus a packed lunch and snacks, since CampXcel runs full days. Nut-aware foods are strongly encouraged. Please label all belongings.
What is the dress code?+
Convention dancewear, with ballet shoes, jazz shoes, and clean indoor hip hop sneakers that have not been worn outdoors. Hair secured neatly away from the face, and minimal jewelry for safety. Layers are helpful for contemporary and hip hop.
Can you watch my dancer earlier or later than 9 to 3?+
Yes. Extended care is optional: early drop-off at 8 AM ($45/wk), late pick-up at 4 PM ($45/wk), or both ($75/wk).
How does billing and cancellation work?+
Summer tuition is billed in two installments by program date: June programs are charged June 1st and July programs July 1st, automatically through your payment method on file. Tuition is non-refundable once the billing date passes. If space allows, you can request a transfer to a different week or program up to seven days before the start date.
How do we enroll?+
New families create a Jackrabbit account; returning families register through the Parent Portal. Use the Register for CampXcel button on this page to pick your weeks and complete enrollment.
