Payments

How payments work

Two separate bills

Class tuition is charged on the 1st of the month. It pays for your dancer’s classes and our teachers. Pay for the whole year up front and save 5%. Your Company Membership is charged on the 15th of the month, July through May, and covers every competition expense.

Why is the Company Membership separate?

Competitions come with a lot of fees: entry fees, conventions, costumes, choreography, travel to events, and travel for guest choreographers. Your Company Membership pays those outside vendors. These are not Dancehouse fees. They are what the competitions and vendors charge, down to the team earrings and jackets.

Want to pay ahead?

You can prepay any part of your Company Membership: a percentage, certain fees, or the whole season up front. Just email us at info@thedancehouseco.com. There is no discount for paying the membership ahead, but a lot of parents like getting competition fees out of the way.

Optional events

Any of our dancers are welcome at any optional event. We handle registration and all the details for you. You pay for an optional event when you register, and they are never required.
