Mission Statement

Our mission is simple: to develop dancers of the highest caliber who lead themselves with discipline, serve others with humility, and rise together with integrity.

At The Dancehouse & Co., dance is our tool, but character is our mission. We hold our students to the highest standards of technical and artistic excellence, knowing that skill without integrity is empty. In every class, dancers are challenged to take ownership of their growth, to practice discipline when it’s hard, and to support one another with humility and respect.

We believe trophies and titles are temporary, but the wisdom, resilience, and leadership learned here last a lifetime. This is why we train differently, because our goal is not only to create exceptional performers, but exceptional humans.

Today, we invite you to experience The Dancehouse & Co.: where elite training meets timeless values, and dancers become leaders.

Core Values

Learn why parents trust us to support their child’s goals.

Ownership

We take full responsibility for our growth, progress, and results. No excuses. No blame. Each dancer is accountable for how they show up, how they train, and who they become.

Relentless Execution

We don’t wait for motivation. We show up and follow through no matter how we feel. Success is earned by those who take action consistently, with the right mindset, energy, and work ethic.

Earned Excellence

Nothing is handed to us. We don’t chase trophies; we chase growth. Every win is earned through preparation, persistence, and patience. We work for the outcome we want.

Lead With Integrity

We lead by example, both in and out of the studio. The way we train, speak, support, and behave (toward teammates, opponents, and ourselves) defines who we are. We rise by doing what’s right, especially when it’s hard.

Resilience

We don’t back down from challenges. Mistakes, setbacks, and failures are part of the process, and we use them to grow stronger. Every obstacle is an opportunity to rise.

United as One

This is bigger than any one dancer. We are a team. We push each other, support each other, and hold each other to high standards. When one of us gets better, we all get better. When one of us wins, we all win.

What Dancehouse Parents Are Saying

We are very grateful to dance at The Dancehouse & Co. Ms. Megan is a gem! She is very passionate, professional, and patient. She pays attention to details and focuses on training excellent technique! She truly cares and actively checks in on her dancers and always makes herself available for questions. Our daughters love her and grow so much in dance and confidence. They truly make a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for learning and exploring. We also enjoy the other wonderful teachers at the studio: Ms. Melanie is super rad and always inspires so much creativity, artistic sense, and uniqueness in choreography. Ms. Laurent’s ballet program is excellent and rich, while her training is strong. We were also impressed with the guest teachers during pop up classes and at the summer intensive program. We were able to try all of the classes in the beginning of the year and truly know and decide the best dance schedule that’s tailored for each of our daughters. We’ve watched them blossom since joining this studio. Highly recommended!

Our Story

Why we built more than a dance studio.

I grew up in a pre-professional company where I was pushed to my limits. It was the most demanded acceleration of growth I’d ever experienced; a complete shift in standards and expectations that shaped me to this day. It gave me discipline, resilience, and the ability to set and chase big goals. Without those lessons, I would not be who I am today.

That’s the power of elite training: it gives kids the same skill set that makes successful athletes, entrepreneurs, and leaders. Time management. Perseverance. Confidence under pressure. The ability to take feedback, adapt, and improve. These are skills that last a lifetime, far beyond the studio.

But here’s what I also saw: skill without wisdom is dangerous. I watched as competitive standards bred gossip, comparison, and envy. I saw dancers win trophies but lose joy, talent without humility, excellence without character. And I knew I didn’t want to build just another studio that produced technically brilliant dancers who weren’t prepared to use their gifts for good.

That’s why I started The Dancehouse & Co. Dance is the tool, but the mission is bigger. Yes, we train at a pre-professional level, holding dancers to the highest standards in technique, artistry, and performance. But more importantly, we are just as committed to wisdom: teaching our dancers how to work hard with humility, how to lead without arrogance, how to face adversity with grace, and how to put character before applause.

Because the truth is, the world doesn’t need more performers. It needs leaders. It needs young people who can take the skills they’ve learned (discipline, grit, and the pursuit of excellence) and apply them with integrity, wisdom, and compassion. That’s what sets our dancers apart.

Families tell us they feel the difference the moment they walk in the door. Not because we preach it, but because it’s lived out in how we train, how we teach, and how we care for every dancer. This is more than a studio. It’s a place where your child can grow into an exceptional dancer and an even better human.
